Description
Nos. 65, 66, and 67 Ablewell Street are three houses and shops built in the early 19th century. They are constructed of brick and topped with a slate roof. The buildings rise three storeys and feature three bays. A change in brick color suggests that the third storey may have been added later. The windows are sashed with glazing bars. The second and third bays have 19th-century shop fronts on the ground floor, which are framed with timber surrounds. There is a doorway between the first and second bays, as well as paired doorways between the second and third bays. All doorways are adorned with plain timber pilaster doorcases and cornices. The buildings have chimneys located on the gables and between the first and second bays.
