Description
The former police station, likely built in 1866, is a three-storey brick building with stucco dressings. It features a symmetrical design with three bays separated by rusticated pilasters. The building has an eaves cornice and an open pediment above the central bay. The windows in the outer bays are tripartite, while the second floor has Venetian windows with elliptical arches. The central doorcase is topped with a segmental arch that includes a keystone. This structure is adjacent to the Guildhall and is part of a group of 19th-century civic buildings.
