Description
Frogmore is a house dating from the early 18th century. It features Flemish bond brickwork with some irregularities on the front, set on roughly squared-coursed stone up to the ground floor window sills. The gables and rear walls are made of coursed rubble, and the roof is slate. The building has a single-room plan with central stairs and gable chimneys, along with a part lean-to at the rear. It is two storeys high with attics and has a symmetrical facade with five windows. The windows are two-light mullion and transom style, with original iron casements and leaded lights. The ground floor windows have cambered heads, while the first floor windows have elliptical heads. There is a plain string course at the first floor and moulded timber eaves. The original panelled front door is topped with a plain shell hood supported by consoles. One chimney is made of ashlar stone, while the other is rendered brick. The interior has not been inspected.
