Description

This is a windmill tower located to the west of number 75, Highgate Road, Walsall. It dates from the mid-19th century and was altered later in the 19th century. The tower is constructed of brick and stands approximately 20 metres high. The lower stage has a noticeable batter. The exterior is largely obscured by climbing plants, but several openings are visible, some retaining their original window frames and bars. An embattled parapet sits above a string course.
