Description

The windmill tower at number 145, associated with Timm and Son Ltd, is a structure dating from the late 18th century to the early 19th century, with internal alterations and the addition of a water tank made in the 20th century. It is built of tarred brick and features a tapered round design with four storeys. The tower has segmental-headed door and window openings, although most of the windows have been blocked. It is topped with a cogged cornice and supports a later cylindrical brick section that houses the water tank. Inside, there is 20th-century milling machinery. The tower is part of a larger 20th-century mill complex.
