Description
This is a windmill tower built around 1830, with a later 19th-century top section. It is constructed of brick and stands five storeys tall, featuring a three-storey tapered round tower that transitions into a two-storey cylindrical top section. The east side has a two-fold board door with strap hinges set beneath a segmental arch, while there is a blocked door on the west side. Each floor has square-headed and segmental-arched openings, with four of these containing 4-pane or 9-pane casements, while others are blocked or have missing window frames. The top of the tower is somewhat damaged and features a dentilled brick cornice, but there is no roof. The interior floors are mostly intact. The windmill ceased operating in the early 20th century.
