Description
Nos 2, 3, and 4 Doveridge Place are a row of houses built in the early 19th century. They are constructed of brick in Flemish bond and topped with slate roofs. Each house has three storeys and three bays. No 2 features sashed windows with glazing bars, lintels with chamfered false voussoirs, and projecting keystones. The middle window on the second floor is blind. The door, located in the middle bay, has a doorcase with pilaster strips, a cornice hood on fluted consoles, and a rectangular overlight with intersecting glazing bars. No 3 is similar to No 2. No 4 includes a brick canted bay window in its left-hand bay, which has a slated roof and a front light that is sashed with glazing bars. The middle window on the first floor is a casement with glazing bars. The row features chimneys at both ends and between the houses. It adjoins No 1 Doveridge Place on the right.
