Description
No. 28 on Coleshill Road is a pair of houses that are part of a terrace, built in the early 19th century. The houses are constructed of Flemish bond brick and feature a moulded wood cornice. They have an old plain-tile roof and brick shared end stacks. The design follows a late Georgian style and has a double-depth plan. The front is three storeys high and consists of a three-window range, treated symmetrically as a single house.
The central passage has a flush six-panelled door with flush-panelled reveals and a blind fanlight, framed by a moulded wood doorcase that includes fluted pilasters, moulded roundels, and an open pediment. The left house, No. 30, has 16-pane sash windows and an 8-pane sash window on the lower second floor. No. 28 features late 20th-century top-hung windows with glazing bars. The houses have rusticated rendered flat arches with keyblocks and moulded cornices. The interiors have not been inspected.
