Description
Nos. 10-13 on Bath Street are a row of four houses built in the early 19th century. They feature Flemish bond brickwork and slate roofs, standing two storeys high with an attic. Each house has one window; the dormers are raking, with No. 11 having a sash window, while Nos. 10 and 12 have casement windows, and No. 13 has a replacement window. Below, there are four-pane sash windows in plain reveals, with No. 11 retaining large 16-pane sashes set flush, all framed by brick voussoirs. To the left, there is an arched doorway with a radial fanlight and a six-panel door for No. 10, while Nos. 12 and 13 have plain fanlights. No. 11 features a square-headed doorway with a six-panel door and a plain transom light. The houses have a small stone plinth and a ridge stack on the right party walls. The interior has not been inspected. Although they appear to be part of a continuous terrace, No. 11 has straight joints in the brickwork on each side, suggesting it may be a slightly later infill or rebuild, although the sashes seem to be original.
