Description

The clock located in Dartmouth Square, West Bromwich, was built in 1912 and is made of cast iron. It features a column with an Ionic capital that stands on a square base. This column supports an entablature, with a cornice that forms the base of the upper section. The upper stage has circular glazed clock faces on all four sides, each adorned with a swag underneath and a pediment above. The top of the clock is domed. The column bears an inscription that reads: "Councillor J Archibald Kenrick was Mayor November 1912 and presented this clock to the Borough."
