Description

The Langley War Memorial is located on a lawn in front of the Ebenezer Church on High Street. It features a rough-hewn granite Celtic cross with a tall shaft, which is set on a tapering plinth. This plinth rises from a rectangular rough-hewn granite base, which is positioned on a rectangular concrete slab.

On the front (west) face of the plinth, there is an inscription in black painted letters that reads "THE/ GLORIOUS/ DEAD/ 1914 – 1918." Below this, on the base, another inscription in black painted letters states "THEIR NAME LIVETH FOR EVERMORE."
