Description
No. 16 Church Square is a house that has been converted into offices, built in the mid-19th century. It is constructed of brick in Flemish bond, featuring some painted stone dressings and a slate roof. The building has a symmetrical design with three storeys and three bays. The windows are sashed without glazing bars, and the ground floor includes timber bay windows. The first floor windows are set above a sill band and have lintels with keystones. The central window is distinguished by an architrave and a broken pediment. The second floor windows also have a sill band. The entrance features a moulded round head doorway with a doorcase that includes Tuscan pilasters and a segmental pediment supported by brackets. The building is topped with gable chimneys.
