Description

BOOTH'S LANE 1. 5104 Perry Bar B42 Nos 322 and 324 (Yew Tree Cottages) SP 09 SE 3/8 II 2. Probably late C17 origin, altered early C19 as 2 tenements. Two storeys stuccoed brick. Front block of 2 regular bays with rusticated quoins that are probably original. Two windows each floor of 3 C20 leaded lights but under probably original deep caveto drip moulds. Flat parapet coping to wall head. Early C19 slate roof but with central stack. Rear wing has tiled C18 roof, early C19 and modern casement windows. No 320 has 6 panel door flanked by very slender pairs of fluted cast iron columns, under a hood. Plain doorway to No 322. Interior refurbished early C19 with corner block architrave doorcases, boxed in beams.
