Description
The following Building shall be added:- TAME VALLEY CANAL SP 09 SE Perry Barr Locks B44 997/3/31 Cottage immediately north of Lock No 1 (Top Lock) GV II Lock cottage with office attached. 1841-4, with later alterations. Brick. Hipped, concrete tile roof, with 2 large ridge stacks. Heavily rusticated, quoins and dentilled eaves cornice. 2 storeys, 5 bays. Ground floor, from left to right; single doorway with C20 door followed by a canted 4-light bay window with flat roof, to former office. To right again a single 6-light sash window then a doorway with C20 door, followed by another sash as before. 1st floor has a range of 3, regular spaced, 6-light sashes. All door and window openings, except bay, have chamfered reveals and cambered arches.
