Description

Perry Barr Locks Bridge is a footbridge over the Tame Valley Canal, built between 1841 and 1844. This bridge features a prefabricated cast iron girder design, with cast iron parapets that have a regular pattern of St Andrew's crosses set within rectangles. The deck is slightly cambered, supported by brick piers and abutments that are topped with stone copings.
