Description

Number 22 Castle Street is a building dating from 1781, located on the west side of Castle Street. The front of the building has been completely rebuilt in modern red brickwork and is designed in a Neo-Georgian style. However, the main structure and the back elevation are from the 17th century or earlier, and it features an old tiled roof. Number 22, along with Number 24 Castle Street and Number 2 Castle Lane, forms a group of buildings.
