Description

No. 5 Castle Street dates to the 18th century. It is constructed of colour-washed brickwork with an old tiled roof. The building is two storeys high, featuring chamfered stone quoins and a first-floor band. Four flush sash windows with glazing bars are set within cased frames. A six-panel door is situated under a bracketed hood, and the building has a cornice. The windows have painted stone heads. Nos. 5, 7, and 9 form a group.
