Number 10 Castle Street is a timber-framed house dating from around 1500. It has two storeys plus an attic, with a jettied first floor that features an enriched bressumer supported by projecting rafters. A late 16th-century wall painting has been discovered in the southern part of the building. The roof is covered with machine tiles. This property is part of a group that includes numbers 10, 12, 16, and 20.
