Description

Rectory Cottage is probably a mid-17th century cottage located on the west side of Church Lane, Lapworth. The building has a painted brick plinth and small timber framing with painted brick infill. The roof is of old plain tiles, hipped on the right side, with a brick ridge stack in the centre. It has an L-shaped plan. The cottage is single-storey with an attic and has a two-window front. A central porch has a plank door. To the left is a three-light casement window, and to the right, a four-light casement window. Gabled half-dormers are located on the left and right, each containing a two-light casement. The interior has not been inspected.
