Description
Mountford Farmhouse is a 16th-century farmhouse that features an 18th-century brick encasement and an 18th-century cross-wing to the right of the center. The building is constructed of red brick and has an old plain-tile complex roof. There is a brick end stack on the left with star-shaped flues and a ridge stack to the right of the center with diagonally-set flues. The farmhouse has a complex plan and is two stories high with a four-bay range and a cross-wing that includes a 20th-century lean-to hood. The windows have irregular fenestration with casements. Inside, there is a collar-truss roof truss with queen-struts in the cross-gable at the left of the center. The interior has not been inspected.
