Description
Sands Farm Barn is a 17th-century barn that has been converted into a house, with alterations made in the late 20th century. The building features a brick plinth and large timber-framing with brick infill, while the upper panels are covered with weatherboarding. It has an old plain-tile roof and is two stories high, with a four-window range. There is a 20th-century door leading to a porch located to the left of the center. The windows are also from the 20th century and consist of casements. Although the interior was not inspected, it is noted to have a simple roof construction supported by pairs of struts from the tie-beams, along with side-purlins and a ridge piece.
