Description

This is a late 17th-century cottage located on Coxstone Lane, Ringwood. It is a timber-frame building with painted brick infill and a thatched roof. The cottage is a 1½-storey, two-bay design. A central plank door is covered by a swept-down hood. Modern two-light casement windows are on each side. Above are two eyebrow dormers; the one on the right-hand side is an 18th-century replacement. The roof is half-hipped with a stack on the right-hand side. There are rendered brick sections and a tile lean-to on the left-hand side.
