Description

Numbers 111 and 113 are a pair of houses built around 1840, located on Rugby Road in New Milverton, Royal Leamington Spa. They are constructed from pinkish-brown brick in Flemish bond, featuring stuccoed bays and a Welsh slate roof. The houses are two storeys high with a basement and have four first-floor windows.

On the first floor, there are six-over-six sash windows with sills set in plain reveals, topped with cambered arches. The windows on the right side of each house are smaller. The ground floor has a flight of six roll-edged steps leading to the entrances, which are similar and feature deeply-recessed three-panel doors with overlights and a frieze above. Each house has triangular bays with two six-over-six sash windows, complete with sills, a cornice, and a blocking course. The basement contains four six-over-six sash windows. The houses have tall end and roof stacks, with additional stacks at the rear, all featuring cornices.

The properties are accompanied by simple cast-iron railings on either side of the steps and around the areas. The interior has not been inspected.
