Description

This is a barn located 35 yards north of Oakley Wood Farmhouse, dating from the 17th century. It is constructed with a timber frame and features red brick infill panels, set on a stone plinth. The barn has a steeply pitched plain tile roof with gabled ends and consists of three bays. The north side has a central cart entrance that is open, as the doors are missing, while the south side has been bricked up in the late 19th century with a door inserted. Inside, there is a tie beam supported by angle struts.
