Description

This barn, located approximately 15 metres north of Oakwood Farmhouse, dates from the 17th to 18th century. It is constructed with a timber frame featuring brick nogging, arch braces, and some weatherboarding. The roof is covered with old tiles and is half hipped to the right. The barn consists of five framed bays supported by queen post trusses and has two wagon entries, although the entry to the north is blocked. The barn is included in the listing for its group value with the nearby farmhouse.
