Description

St. Mary’s Farmhouse is a late 18th and early 19th century farmhouse. It is dated 1825, inscribed "S.B." and "S.G.B." on the west front. The farmhouse is constructed of red brick with deep, bracketed eaves and a hipped slate roof, featuring a ridge stack offset to the west. The south front has three bays, featuring glazing bar sashes; the first-floor windows are tripartite, and the ground-floor windows are Venetian with a central 19th-century French casement with margin lights. The east front has five bays, with only one window on the first floor, located centrally and featuring a wrought iron balcony. A central half-glazed door is set within a doorcase with panelled pilasters and brackets supporting a triangular pediment.
