Description

Butler's Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the 16th and 17th centuries, with a circa 1930 addition on the right. The building is timber framed with brick nogging and features an old tile roof. To the right, there is a tile-hung gabled cross wing and a gabled semi-dormer. The structure consists of two framed bays, with a two-storey cross wing to the right. The farmhouse has one and a half to two storeys. All windows are 20th-century leaded casements, including one on the left side of the first floor and an oriel window on the right in the cross wing. There are two windows to the left of a central 20th-century gabled porch that has a boarded door, along with a gabled oriel to the right. Inside, the farmhouse features good fireplaces and chamfered beams.
