Description

Apple Tree Cottage is a late 17th and 18th century cottage, with a 19th century single-story addition to the right. The structure is timber-framed with brick nogging, partly encased in later white-painted brick; the third bay from the left is exposed, displaying angled braces. It has a half-hipped thatched roof with two eyebrow dormers, and chimney stacks positioned off-centre on the ridge to the left and behind the ridge to the right. The cottage has three framed bays, a 1½-story elevation, and a four-window facade, featuring 20th-century casement windows. A boarded door is set within a 20th-century porch located between the first and second windows from the left.
