Description

This barn, located approximately 30 meters west of Poplars Farmhouse, dates from the late 17th to 18th century. It is timber framed and features tension braces, with some sections covered in weatherboarding and brick infill set on a high brick plinth. The roof is covered with old tiles and the structure consists of four bays. There are corrugated iron doors, and a 20th-century two-light dormer is positioned on the left side. The rear wall has been partly rebuilt in brick on the left. The roof is supported by queen struts. This barn is included for its group value with the nearby farmhouse.
