ILMINGTON SP24SW 4/20 Dunstall Buildings, barn at SP 2011 4245
- II
Barn. Early C19. Coursed limestone rubble with quoins. Corrugated asbestos roof. 3 bays. To centre a large opening with segmental arch with keystone. Coped gable above with ball finial. To left and right a 3-lancet window, with taller central lancet. Diamond shaped piercing. To left and right a small pillar with ball finial. To rear a large opening with brick arch, and brick diamond-shaped ventilation holes. Interior: stone flagged threshing floor. Queen strut roof with original purlins. Forms an eyecatcher from Foxcote House (q.v.).
