Description

This is a late 18th-century barn situated immediately north-east of Quinmoor Old Farmhouse. It is constructed of coursed, squared, and dressed limestone, with a limestone slate roof. The barn has an 'L' shaped plan. The façade facing the road has a gable end and includes double doors, smaller double doors to the left, and a double-width opening set at a right angle to the left. A two-light casement window is located to the left. Blocked triangular ventilation holes are visible in the gable end. The barn features a flat gable-end coping, and a hipped gablet to the left with a hipped section extending below the eaves. A blocked sundial is positioned at the apex of the far gable end. The main body of the barn consists of five bays and contains 20th-century roof trusses.
