Former Dairy And Cheeseroom Approximately 1.25 Metres North Of Lower Westfields Farmhouse

The former dairy and cheeseroom, dating from the mid to late 18th century, is located approximately 1.25 meters north of Lower Westfields Farmhouse. It is constructed of Flemish bond red brick and features a brick dentil cornice. The old tile roof is adorned with stone-coped gable parapets and kneelers. The building has a one-unit plan with a lean-to on the left return side and stands two storeys tall with a single window range.

On the yard side, there is a plank door, and a plank door has been inserted into a blocked window to the left. Above, there are two-light fixed windows, and all openings are topped with brick segmental arches. The lean-to has half-gables with gable parapets and kneelers. The rear of the building is similar but lacks doors, featuring a cross window with a horizontal glazing bar and a 20th-century window that has been inserted. The interior has not been inspected.
