Description
Brook House Farmhouse is a farmhouse that likely dates from the mid-18th century, with later additions and alterations including 19th-century bays, a 20th-century range at the rear, and a late 20th-century conservatory. The building is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond and has a Welsh slate roof.
The exterior features three storeys and a three-window range. The front has a central part-glazed four-panel door flanked by rectangular bay windows that contain casements with glazing bars, all beneath a hipped slate pentice roof. The remaining windows are 8/8 sashes set in plain reveals with sills, and flat arches above, with raised keystones on the first-floor flat arches. To the left is the conservatory. The building has a modillion eaves cornice and a hipped roof, with stacks positioned at the sides of the hips, each with cornices. There are also blind window openings on the left return. The interior has not been inspected.
