Description

This is a headstone dated 1700, located approximately 5 metres south of the chancel of the Church of St Lawrence in Oxhill. It is made of ironstone and features a moulded design that includes a putto head with wings, festoons, and scrolls. The inscription reads: 'HERE LYETH/THE BODY 0F/EDWARD EDEN/WHO DIED/JUNE THE 28/AND DOM/1700'.
