Description

This headstone, dated 1700, is located approximately 8 meters southeast of the south door of the Church of St. Lawrence in Oxhill. It is made of ironstone and features a moulded design that includes a putto head with wings, along with festoons and scrolls. The inscription reads: "HERE/LYETH THE BODY/OF WILLIAM/PAIN WHO DIED/APRIL THE 18/AND DOM/1770."
