Description

A pair of early 19th-century houses, originally built as one building, located on the south side of Evesham Street in Alcester. The houses are constructed of colourwashed brick with a brick string course and a dentil cornice. The roof is tiled, with some 20th-century replacements, and features brick ridge stacks. The houses follow a double-depth plan, and are two storeys high with a two-window front range to each property, arranged symmetrically with a central entrance. Number 12 has a 20th-century door set within a brick segmental arch. It features two bow windows with small-pane glazing bars. Number 14 has a 6-panelled door with a moulded wooden surround and a shallow hood. The ground floor windows are 20th-century and set within brick segmental arches, while the first floor has 16-pane sashes throughout. The rear of the properties has twin gables. The interior has not been inspected.
