Description

No. 11 Swan Street is a 17th-century house that has been altered in the late 20th century. It features a timber frame with colourwashed plaster and brick infill, topped by an old tile roof with no visible chimneys. The building has a two-unit plan and is one storey high with an attic, which includes dormers. The facade has a two-window range and a very large late 20th-century shop front that spans the entire width. The flat roof dormers contain 19th-century casements with glazing bars. The rear of the building is obscured by 20th-century brick additions, and the interior has also been altered.
