Description
No. 17 Evesham Street is a cottage dating from the 17th century, which was refaced in the mid to late 19th century. It is timber framed with roughcast infill and a roughcast brick front. The roof is covered with concrete tiles and features brick stacks. The building has a double-depth plan and stands two storeys high, with a one-window range. The door, which dates from the late 20th century, and the ground-floor window are set under a segmental arch. The left side of the cottage has exposed framing with a jowled post, while the left end has been extended in colourwashed brick. There are 16-pane sash windows, along with 20th-century casements and a single dormer. The interior has not been inspected.
