Description
The Beast House, located to the south of Leasowes Farmhouse, is a building that dates from the mid-18th century and has undergone some later alterations. It is constructed of reddish-brown brick and features a Welsh slate roof. The exterior includes side walls with off-set buttresses and is divided into four bays. The open gable end showcases a king post truss with a tie-beam and collar, which is mirrored by a similar truss at the rear gable end. Inside, there are four king-post trusses and one tier of trenched purlins, although the ridge piece has been replaced. All the listed buildings at Leasowes Farm are part of a group.
