Description
The cow and beast house, located to the west of Beckside Farmhouse, is likely from the late 18th century. It is constructed of coursed squared sandstone and features a roof that has been renewed with concrete tiles, although it retains stone copings and kneelers. The building is single-storey and consists of three bays, with boarded openings. It also has stepped eaves courses and block kneelers. This structure is included for its group value with the nearby farmhouse.
