Description
Nos. 9 and 10 Evesham Road are a pair of cottages dating from the 16th or 17th century. They feature a heavy timber frame with braces and whitewashed brick infill. The cottages have a late 20th-century tile roof and a central brick chimney stack. Each cottage is a single unit, symmetrical in design, with two storeys and a two-window range. There is a small window located between the floors above the entrance on each side, along with late 20th-century doors and casement windows. The ends of the cottages have jowled corner posts, while the left end has been rebuilt in brick with painted imitation framing, and the right end is partly rebuilt. Some exposed framing can be seen at the rear, and there are late 20th-century additions to the rear as well. The interior has not been inspected.
