Description

Nos. 12 and 14 Highgate are a pair of cottages dating from the late 17th century. They feature a rendered timber frame and a slate roof, comprising two framed bays. The cottages are one storey high with an attic and have a central brick ridge stack. Each cottage has a pair of gabled eaves dormers that contain two-light wooden casements. The front has two windows, also with two-light wooden casements, and there are boarded doors on the left and right, each with simple moulded surrounds. The left-hand gable end is painted to imitate framing. At the rear, there are a pair of small raking eaves dormers. The interior has not been inspected.
