Description
The Red House is a house built around 1770. It is constructed of red brick and features a brick dentil cornice, a hipped tile roof, and brick lateral chimneys. The layout follows a central staircase plan and is symmetrical, consisting of two storeys and an attic with three hipped dormers. The entrance has a six-panelled door with a Gothick glazed fanlight, a panelled intrados, and a doorcase that includes a keystone and a broken pediment supported by carved scroll brackets, which has late 20th-century tiles. The windows are sashes with gauged brick flat arches, and there are casements in the attic. There is a wing at the rear of the house. The interior has not been inspected.
