Garden Temple Approximately 40 Metres North East Of Ettington Park Hotel

The garden temple, located approximately 40 meters northeast of Ettington Park Hotel, dates from the late 17th century. It is constructed of plastered brick with a limestone ashlar front and features a parapeted flat roof.

The exterior consists of a two-bay structure designed in a Renaissance style. The end piers exhibit channelled rustication with fluted capitals, while fluted Corinthian pilasters are present on the returns, supporting archivolts adorned with key blocks and foliate spandrels. The panelled end piers above the springing of the arches are decorated with drops of fruit, including pomegranates. The top entablature features scrolly foliage in the frieze, which includes panels with coronets and foliage at each end and on the returns. Each end is topped with a pineapple finial, likely replicas of the originals, and similar finials are found at the rear. The return walls contain entrance openings and top cornices.

Inside, the rear wall is finished in stucco and features a central round-headed recess with angle pilasters and an archivolt. There are plain niches on either side, each topped with a scrolly foliage frieze. The floor is laid with 19th-century encaustic tiles. This building was relocated from Coleshill Park.
