Description
The left gatepier and garden wall, located approximately 30 meters southwest of Gorcott Hall, date from the mid-18th century. They are constructed of English Garden Wall bond brick and feature a stone cornice, finial, and coping. The square gatepier has a moulded cornice topped with a ball finial. The wall has round coping and has undergone significant repairs. This structure is part of an interesting group that includes the right gatepier and garden wall, Gorcott Hall, and other gatepiers and garden walls southeast of Gorcott Hall, as well as a stable, granary, and attached barn.
