Includes: No.65 HENLEY STREET. Town house now shops. Early C16 with early C20 rear range. Timber-frame with plaster infill; renewed tile roof with brick end stack. 3 storeys; 2-window range; the upper floors jettied on curved brackets. 2 early C20 shop fronts with bowed windows with leaded upper lights and entrances with glazed doors. 1st floor has 5-light oriels; 2nd floor with 5-light projecting windows; all with leaded glazing. Close studding with angle brackets and moulded central bracket to 2nd floor oriel. Rear range: 2 storeys; 3-window range; tile-banded brick ground floor and timber-framed 1st floor. 2 shop windows with leaded upper lights and recessed glazed doors flank segmental-headed entry with tile arch and battened segmental-headed gate with open slots to top; 1st floor has 2 canted 1:3:1-light oriels with gables flanking 2-light window, all with leaded glazing. INTERIOR: some exposed chamfered beams and framing. A well preserved example of C16 architecture with sympathetic rear addition.
