Description
This cottage, located approximately 15 metres south of Periwinkle Cottage, dates back to the 17th century. It features a timber frame with lath and plaster and whitewashed brick infill on a lias stone base. The thatched roof has a prominent lias external stack and a bread oven with a brick shaft on the left end. The cottage has a three-unit plan and consists of one storey and an attic, which includes two eyebrow dormers. The entrance is on the left end and features a 19th-century plank door. There are four 19th-century casement windows on the ground floor, with two on the left side set close together at different levels. To the left, there is a small, low, single-storey wing made of whitewashed stone and brick, which is set back. The interior has not been inspected, and there is a 20th-century addition at the rear.
