Description

This headstone, dating from 1690, is located approximately 23 meters north of the chancel of the Church of St. Lawrence in Napton on the Hill. It is made of carved ironstone and features a segmental pediment with a winged head. Below the pediment, there is another winged head, and the main panel is set within a decorated moulded frame that includes volutes and ornamental details.
