Description
This is a pair of headstones dating from 1661, located approximately 26 meters south-southwest of the tower of the Church of St. Lawrence in Napton on the Hill. They are made of carved ironstone and feature an identical design, with a shaped scrolled top that includes a central rosette and fleurs-de-lys. The right headstone is damaged and bears an inscription dedicated to John Medam. Both headstones commemorate the Medam family.
