STUDLEY BIRMINGHAM ROAD SP06SE (West side) Gorcott Hill 1/195 Left gatepier and garden wall 01/02/67 approx. 10m. SE of Gorcott Hall (Formerly listed as garden wall and gatepiers at Gorcott Hall)

Gatepier and garden wails. Late C17/early C18. English bond brick with stone cornice, finial and coping. Tall square pier has large moulded cornice and octagonal ball finial. Wall has substantial coping. Section of wall to left much repaired. The wall continues at right angles northwards towards the house. Forms part of an interesting group with right gatepier and wall (q.v.). Gorcott hall (q.v.) and gatepiers and garden walls south-west of Gorcott Hall (q.v.) and stable, granary and attached barn.
